| Úna’s presentation examines a clinical case in which a patient received inappropriate dietary advice from an unqualified professional. It explores the substantial effects that this inappropriate information had on the patient’s quality of life, their clinical presentation, the financial burden they experienced, and the considerable demands this placed on dietetic clinical time. Originally presented at the Member Led Meeting Decoding Nutrition Misinformation: Separating Fact from Fiction, held in Dublin on 27 November 2025. |
