Take the opportunity to view a member-led meeting hosted by The Nutrition Society and supported by Marlow Foods, exploring the role of fungi-derived proteins, in the form of mycoprotein. Although mycoprotein has been available for nearly 40 years, it is often grouped with plant-based foods in food policy and popular culture, despite fungi being a distinct kingdom of life. This webinar will examine the growing body of evidence supporting the health benefits of fungi in the human diet, with a particular focus on their potential as an alternative protein source.
