Maeve Hanan is a Registered Dietitian with over 12 years of experience across both public and private healthcare, as well as in nutrition communication and consultancy.
She specialises in Disordered Eating and is the founder of Dietetically Speaking, a service that helps people heal their relationship with food while supporting a wide range of nutrition concerns through a food-freedom lens. Support is provided in a variety of formats including 1:1 sessions, workshops, webinars, group programmes, courses and ebooks.
Maeve has been sharing nutrition information on social media for more than 10 years. Her main platform is Instagram (@dieteticallyspeaking) where she has over 33,000 followers and regularly shares content. In 2025 she was short-listed as the BDA Social Media Influencer of the Year.
